Zirabev® (Bevacizumab-bvzr) IV Infusion Therapy

Biosimilar Treatment for Approved Oncology and Eye Conditions

Clearwell Infusion Centers offers Zirabev infusion therapy in a supportive, outpatient environment designed for patient comfort and safety. Located in Miami, our center provides flexible scheduling, private treatment suites, and expert clinical care for individuals prescribed this bevacizumab biosimilar.

What Is Zirabev?

Zirabev® (bevacizumab-bvzr) is an FDA-approved biosimilar to Avastin®. It is a monoclonal antibody that works by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), a protein that promotes the growth of new blood vessels. By blocking VEGF, Zirabev limits the blood supply to tumors, helping slow their growth and spread.

Zirabev is administered as an IV infusion and is approved for the treatment of various cancers when prescribed by an oncologist.

Conditions Treated with Zirabev

Zirabev is approved for use in combination with other therapies for the treatment of:

  • Metastatic colorectal cancer
  • Non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  • Glioblastoma
  • Metastatic renal cell carcinoma
  • Cervical cancer

It is also used off-label under specialist guidance for other VEGF-related conditions.

Note: Zirabev should only be prescribed and monitored by a qualified oncologist or specialist.

Zirabev Side Effects

As with any chemotherapy-related infusion, Zirabev may cause side effects, including:

  • High blood pressure
  • Fatigue
  • Bleeding or clotting events
  • Proteinuria
  • Delayed wound healing
  • GI perforations (rare but serious)
  • Infusion-related reactions

At Clearwell, patient safety is our top priority. All infusions are conducted under ACHC-accredited protocols, with close monitoring throughout and after each session.
