Onpattro® (Patisiran) IV Infusion Therapy
RNAi Therapy for Hereditary Transthyretin-Mediated Amyloidosis (hATTR) with Polyneuropathy
Clearwell Infusion Centers offers expert administration of Onpattro (patisiran) for patients with hATTR amyloidosis. Our Miami-based infusion center provides private suites, personalized attention, and flexible scheduling to support long-term therapy in a comfortable, outpatient setting.
What Is Onpattro?
Onpattro® (patisiran) is an FDA-approved RNA interference (RNAi) therapy indicated for the treatment of adults with polyneuropathy of hereditary transthyretin-mediated amyloidosis (hATTR). It works by silencing the TTR gene, reducing the production of transthyretin protein that causes amyloid buildup in tissues.
Onpattro is administered as a once-every-3-weeks IV infusion, making it a convenient and targeted treatment option for this rare condition.

Who Is Onpattro For?
Onpattro is prescribed for adults with hATTR amyloidosis with polyneuropathy, a progressive, inherited disease that affects the nerves, heart, and other organs. Patients typically experience symptoms such as:
- Numbness, tingling, or pain in the limbs
- Muscle weakness
- Gastrointestinal issues
- Orthostatic hypotension
- Cardiomyopathy (in some cases)
Onpattro may be used as a disease-modifying therapy to slow nerve damage progression and improve quality of life.
Onpattro Side Effects
Onpattro is generally well tolerated, but side effects may include:
- Infusion-related reactions (flushing, back pain, nausea)
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Fatigue
- Muscle spasms
- Cough or headache
Patients receiving Onpattro will also receive premedication to reduce the risk of infusion reactions. Clearwell’s clinical team monitors patients closely throughout each infusion using ACHC-accredited safety protocols.
For complete safety details, see the Onpattro prescribing information.
