Rituxan® (Rituximab) IV Infusion Therapy

Targeted Biologic Therapy for Autoimmune Diseases and Certain Cancers

Clearwell Infusion Centers offers Rituxan infusion therapy for patients with autoimmune disorders and hematologic malignancies. Our Miami-based facility provides private suites, personalized care, and flexible scheduling, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for your treatment.

What Is Rituxan?

Rituxan® (rituximab) is an FDA-approved monoclonal antibody that targets CD20-positive B cells, which play a role in immune system dysfunction and certain cancers. By depleting these B cells, Rituxan helps reduce inflammation and slow disease progression.

Rituxan is administered via intravenous (IV) infusion and is used either alone or in combination with other therapies.

Rituxan is approved to treat several autoimmune and hematologic conditions, including:

  • Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA)
  • Microscopic Polyangiitis (MPA)
  • Pemphigus Vulgaris
  • Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL)
  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)

For autoimmune conditions, Rituxan is often used when patients have not responded well to traditional therapies.

Rituxan Side Effects

Rituxan is generally well tolerated, but side effects may occur, such as:

  • Infusion-related reactions (fever, chills, rash)
  • Headache or fatigue
  • Infections (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis)
  • Low white blood cell count
  • Increased risk of serious infections, including PML (rare)

At Clearwell, we administer Rituxan using ACHC-accredited safety protocols, with close monitoring during and after each infusion.
