What Is Vyvgart?

Vyvgart® (efgartigimod alfa-fcab) is an FDA-approved biologic treatment for generalized myasthenia gravis in adults who test positive for anti-AChR antibodies. It works by blocking the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn), reducing the levels of harmful IgG autoantibodies that disrupt communication between nerves and muscles. Vyvgart is given as an IV infusion once a week for four weeks, with cycles repeated based on clinical response.
