Uplizna® (Inebilizumab-cdon) IV Infusion Therapy
Specialized Therapy for Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD)
Clearwell Infusion Centers offers Uplizna infusion therapy for patients diagnosed with NMOSD. At our Miami facility, we combine advanced clinical oversight with a spa-like environment, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for patients who require long-term biologic infusions.
What Is Uplizna?
Uplizna® (inebilizumab-cdon) is an FDA-approved monoclonal antibody therapy used to treat adults with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) who are anti-AQP4 antibody positive. It works by targeting CD19-expressing B cells, which play a key role in triggering inflammatory attacks on the optic nerves and spinal cord in NMOSD. Uplizna is administered as an IV infusion. Patients receive an initial dose split into two infusions two weeks apart, followed by a single infusion every six months.
