What Is Givlaari?

Givlaari® (givosiran) is an FDA-approved RNA interference (RNAi) therapy used to treat adults with acute hepatic porphyria (AHP). It works by reducing the production of delta-aminolevulinic acid (ALA), a toxic substance that accumulates in the body due to a genetic enzyme deficiency and causes attacks and chronic symptoms of porphyria.

Givlaari is administered as a subcutaneous injection once a month by a healthcare professional.
