What Is Gamunex-C?

Gamunex-C® is an FDA-approved immune globulin (IG) therapy made from purified human plasma. It contains a broad spectrum of antibodies and is used to support or modulate the immune system in patients with antibody deficiencies or autoimmune diseases.

Conditions Treated with Gamunex-C

Gamunex-C is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Primary Immunodeficiency (PI)
  • Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP)
  • Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP)

It may also be prescribed off-label for:

  • Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN)
  • Other autoimmune or neurologic conditions, as directed by your physician

Gamunex-C Side Effects

Gamunex-C is generally well tolerated, but like all immune globulin products, side effects may occur. Common side effects include:
