What Is Cinqair?

Cinqair® (reslizumab) is an FDA-approved biologic therapy used to treat severe eosinophilic asthma in adults. It works by targeting and blocking interleukin-5 (IL-5), a key inflammatory signal involved in the overproduction of eosinophils — a type of white blood cell that contributes to asthma symptoms and flare-ups.

Cinqair is administered as an intravenous (IV) infusion every 4 weeks and is used alongside your regular asthma maintenance treatments to reduce exacerbations and improve lung function.

Cinqair is approved for:

• Severe eosinophilic asthma in adults

Cinqair is typically prescribed when other asthma medications are not enough to keep symptoms under control.

Cinqair Side Effects
