Amvuttra® (Vutrisiran) Injection Therapy in Miami
Advanced Treatment for Hereditary ATTR Amyloidosis
Clearwell Infusion Centers offers safe, comfortable, and efficient administration of Amvuttra (vutrisiran) for patients with hereditary ATTR (hATTR) amyloidosis. As a leading infusion and injection center in Miami, we provide private suites, flexible scheduling, and a supportive, patient-first environment.
What Is Amvuttra?
Amvuttra® (vutrisiran) is an FDA-approved RNA interference (RNAi) therapy designed to treat polyneuropathy caused by hereditary transthyretin-mediated amyloidosis (hATTR). It works by silencing the gene responsible for producing abnormal transthyretin (TTR) protein, which builds up in nerves and organs, leading to progressive damage.
Amvuttra is administered via a quick subcutaneous injection once every 3 months, offering an effective and convenient treatment option for eligible patients.
Conditions Treated with Amvuttra
Amvuttra is approved to treat:
- Polyneuropathy related to TTR protein buildup
- Hereditary ATTR (hATTR) amyloidosis
Patients with this rare genetic condition may experience symptoms such as:
- Numbness or tingling in the hands and feet
- Muscle weakness or pain
- Balance or coordination issues
- Gastrointestinal or cardiovascular complications
Amvuttra may help slow disease progression and improve quality of life.
Side Effects and Safety
Like all medications, Amvuttra may cause side effects. Common side effects may include:
- Injection site reactions (redness, pain, swelling)
- Joint or muscle pain
- Fatigue
- Low levels of vitamin A (your provider may recommend supplements)
Our clinical team will monitor for any side effects and communicate with your referring provider to ensure a safe and effective treatment experience.
For a full list of potential side effects, please see the Important Safety Information and Medication Guide on the official Amvuttra website.
