Targeted Treatment for Sickle Cell Disease
Clearwell Infusion Centers offers high-quality, comfortable, and efficient administration of Adakveo (crizanlizumab) for patients with sickle cell disease. As a leading infusion center in Miami, we provide private suites, flexible scheduling, and a supportive, patient-first environment.
What Is Adakveo?
Adakveo® (crizanlizumab) is an FDA-approved monoclonal antibody used to reduce the frequency of pain crises (vaso-occlusive crises) in patients with sickle cell disease. It works by targeting P-selectin, a protein that plays a key role in the inflammation and cell clumping that leads to pain episodes.
Adakveo is administered as a monthly intravenous (IV) infusion and is typically used alongside other sickle cell treatments to reduce painful episodes and improve quality of life.
Conditions Treated with Adakveo Infusions
Adakveo is approved to treat:
- Sickle Cell Disease (SCD)
- Recurrent vaso-occlusive pain crises (VOCs)
Sickle cell disease can lead to:
- Episodes of severe pain

- Decreased quality of life
Adakveo may help reduce the number of crises and hospital visits for patients living with this chronic condition.
